LATEST NEWS FROM ZIRCUIT

In this final installment of our technical roadmap series (see Part I and Part II), we’ll discuss the long-term technical directions for Zircuit. Unlike the earlier posts, we won’t present a detailed list of explicit features here, as they’re still too far out – these items will be tackled in earnest starting in the latter half of 2025 and may take even longer to achieve significant progress. While this post is the most speculative of the series, we nonetheless want to discuss directions that we’ve long had on our mind.

In the previous post, we outlined the near-term future of the Zircuit network. Now, we’ll look further ahead to mid-2025 and beyond. Our primary goal is to make Zircuit feature-complete, ensuring minimal transaction costs, maximum user security, and optimal network performance.

Zircuit launched its initial mainnet in July 2024, but this is by no means the end of the road for Zircuit in terms of technical innovation. Zircuit has planned major upgrades in the coming years, and this post is the first of a handful that will describe those upgrades.
